With 3 workouts done and two to go we thought it was time to turn our attention to the opens after party!!!!
We will be hosting a social on Saturday 11 April at Outburst, Blakey Road, Salisbury. This is an opportunity for people to get together, let their hair down and don their bowling shoes, whether you took part in the opens or not!
The evening will consist of bowling, laser quasar, awards, food and we’ll also be wishing BP all the very best for his new venture in Reading. It’s going to be an evening not to be missed.
SCUK will be subsidising the evening but we will be asking for a small contribution from those who’d like to come, how much will depend on numbers so please put your name down on the sign up list in the gym if you’d like to attend by Saturday 28 March. Once we have numbers we can confirm the contribution per head.
During the evening we will be acknowledging the outstanding achievements of this years open with the SCUK spirit of the opens award. This award is voted for by members and will be awarded to one male and one female athlete that you think has shown the most determination/ positivity/ commitment/ attitude – anything you think has made that person stand out in the last five weeks of the open.
All you have to do is put the names of your chosen athletes in the box which will be located on top of the water cooler. We will announce the winner at the social on 11th April as part of the celebrations.
